Cardinal Soar/Mrs. Wells
This team of ten juniors and seniors are trained tour guides of our campus and have extensive knowledge of school policy and protocol. They assist in prospective family tours, Open House and other events to welcome newcomers and help students assimilate into the SCCS program. Their unique perspective of the campus culture and resources give great insight to those who want an insider's look at all that SCCS has to offer.
Cardinal Mornings/Sixth Grade Teachers
With a smile and a hearty "good morning", this team of trained six grade students will assist incoming students each morning in the carpool lane. A warm greeting and a little assistance opening doors and grabbing backpacks is the goal to help make your SCCS morning experience a smooth and happy one!
Founded in 1921, the California Scholarship Federation is the oldest scholarship institution in the state of California. The SCCS CSF chapter recognizes student scholarship and provides opportunities for students to use their academic gifts in community service. Membership is based on the prior semester's grades. Students must fill out an application and turn it in with a copy of their report card for the prior semester. Freshmen may apply for membership at the spring semester. Students with 4 or more consecutive semesters of membership receive special recognition during graduation. This year's CSF Advisor is Mrs. Brenner. She will advise students of their eligibility, schedule meetings, and advise the CSF officers.
