On February 21-22, SCCS junior high and high school students will pile into cars and head out to serve at eight different ministries throughout Los Angeles. This iserve logotwo-day event called iServe is an experience unique to SCCS. 

This year's iServe theme comes from 1 Peter 4:10  - Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

All iServe projects for grades 7th through 12th were announced during chapel on Wednesday. The following details where students will be serving this year:

  • 7th grade: Children's Hunger Fund - The Poverty Encounter and Operation Gratitude
  • 8th grade: The Los Angeles Dream Center
  • 9th grade: Union Rescue Mission
  • 10th grade: Special Olympics
  • 11th grade: Hollywood Impact Studios
  • 12th grade: Serving the homeless in Santa Barbara, as well as serving the Santa Barbara college community on Friday night alongside Jesus Burgers
