SPIRIT WEEK February 6-10

ACSI Piano Festival

Any student from SCCS is eligible to participate in the ACSI Piano Festival, which our school will host on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at The Master's College.  
Registration packets will be available in the school office beginning Tuesday, January 31, and need to be completed and returned to the school office
(to Mrs. Brenda Dixon's attention) by Thursday, March 1. If you have a child interested in participating, pick up a packet, take it to your child's piano teacher,
and if you have any questions you can email Mrs. Dixon at sbmmmdixon@aol.com.

Order forms will be in the office and online. as will order forms for personal and business ads.

Early order pricing for yearbooks (before 2/24)

Elementary $40

Secondary $65

After 2/24 prices will increase by $10 each.

Ticket Thursdays in February

Every Thursday in February, PAC will sell tickets in carpool for your convenience.  You can purchase via check, cash or credit card.  
You may also choose your table and let us know which friends you want to sit with at that time.

Memorabilia Needed!!

Do you have SCCS memorabilia, or know someone who does?  Ask them to bring their letterman jacket, sports uniform, trophy, award,
banner, etc. to SCCS so that we can display it at the 30th anniversary event. Contact Jennifer Cantisano at 252-7371 for more information.  
She will be cataloging all items to get them back to you!

Other Key Dates

• No School, Friday, February 17, Teacher in-service.

• No School, Monday, February 20, President’s Day.

• iServe, Thursday March 1 and Friday March 2. This is an all secondary community service outreach. More details will come regarding the specific opportunities available.

• Winter Sports Awards, Monday, March 5. Our winter teams will gather and acknowledge the triumphs and good times from the season.

• Elementary Spiritual Life Emphasis Week, March 5-9. Elementary students will have daily chapels with a focus on God and spiritual growth.

• ACSI Musicale in Pasadena, Thursday March 8 and Friday March 9. Secondary choir will participate in this event.

• 30^th Anniversary Extravaganza. Friday March 9. 7:00 pm at the Hyatt in Valencia. Tickets available in January. Donated items still needed for the event.

• ACSI Piano Festival at The Master’s College, Tuesday March 13.

• SCCS School Art Show and Carnival, Friday March 16. We will be showcasing art from our art classes and our photography classes and enjoying an evening of fun at the annual carnival.

An Average Day in the Life of Charlie Brown

Our Drama department is starting auditions for the school play in May. Auditions will be held January 24, 25 and 26. This is a musical! If your child is interested, they need to contact Mrs. Smith (director) or Mrs. Johnson (music director)

SCCS ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

This event is to benefit our Athletic department, its teams and expenses. The golf tournament will return to Robinson Ranch this year on Friday, May 11. Watch for sign-ups and information on the athletic website, sccsathletics.com
